Being Queen of a Hive means its your responsibility to manage the voting power that your Hive controls.

You can manage this as passively or actively as you like! Are you a profit maxi Queen? Direct those votes towards the gauges with the highest available rewards.

Working with a protocol to ensure that their bribes are going into hodlers hands? Set your votes to their gauge and go off and live your life.

In contrast to Beradrome's UI, Queens do not need to assign votes weekly. Apiary's contracts will automatically assign votes where the Queen wishes.
